Hassan: The Urus ceremony of Hazrat Syed Ahmed Shah Qadri (Gujarati Badshah) was successfully held at the Dargah on Azad Road in the city.
Social Democratic Party of India State General Secretary Afsar Kodlipet and a delegation of Hassan District Committee members participated in the Urus ceremony of Hazrat Syed Ahmed Shah Qadri, who is resting at the Dargah on Azad Road, Hassan, offered a floral chadar and sought the blessings of Sufi saints and prayed for the welfare of mankind.
On this occasion SDPI State General Secretary Afsar Kodlipete said that as a result of the unremitting efforts of the management board members of the historic Hazrat Syed Ahmed Shah Qadri (R.A) (Gujarati Badasha) Dargah of Hassan district, the Urus celebration and mass offering of food is being held every year.
He demanded that the local representatives and the government should release a special grant for the development of this historical Dargah which has been neglected during all the governments and to provide necessary facilities to the devotees coming from different districts of the state.
SDPI Hassan District President Siddique Anemahal, District General Secretary Syed Farid, District Committee Member Syed Safir, Fairoz Pasha Hassan Constituency Committee Chairman Sardar Pasha, Secretary Syed Nadeem and activists were present.
