Hassan: Mujarai Minister Sasikala Jolle inaugurated the solid waste management unit of Channakesavaswamy Temple here on Friday through video conference.
On this occasion, Temple Management Committee Chairman Dr Narayanaswamy said that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, 12 temples of the state religious endowment department’s solid waste disposal unit was inaugurated by Mujarai Minister Sasikala Jolla through a video conference at the Nimishamba temple in Sri Rangapatnam, and composted other waste including flowers made to God. He said it can be sold.
The executive officer of the temple, Vidyu Lalatha, said that a solid waste management unit has been constructed on the order of Mujurai Ila Khe Commissioner Rohini Sindhuri, and it is necessary to use it for the sake of cleanliness. He appealed to the tourists and devotees who come to the temple to maintain cleanliness.
Temple Pradana Archaka Shri Nivasbhattar, management committee members Ravi Shankar, Mohan Gowda, Pramod, Vijayalakshmi and others were present. The solid waste management unit of Channakesavaswamy Temple in Belur was inaugurated by Mujarai Minister Sasikala Jolla through video conference on Friday.
