Hassan: The defeated Congress candidate Murali Mohan said that he will work like a postman between the Congress government and the people even though he was defeated in this Baria assembly election.
Speaking at the press conference, he said that because of the false propaganda of some Congress leaders in the Sakaleshpur Alur Assembly Constituency, he lost in the election, but he will not hesitate to work hard for the growth of the party and will be with the people of the constituency.
District leaders including senior party AICC president Mallikarjuna Kharge, DK Shivakumar, DK Suresh cooperated in getting the Congress ticket but some of the constituencies complained that personal enmity was the main reason for the party’s defeat.
Against the possibility that the Congress candidate will disappear from the constituency after the election, honest work will be done to bring the Congress party to power in all the next elections by remaining in the constituency; During the election, Murali Mohan promised that he would sincerely help the poor, including housing, elephant corridor, Hemavati river barrier, hospital, employment for the youth, as given in the pamphlet.
He said that the Congress government will be in power for the next five years and will help the people by working between the constituencies and the government.
Bairamudi Chandru, Girish, Bikere Devaraj, Manjanna, Shanta Mallesh were there.
