Hassan: JDS candidate Swarup Prakash expressed confidence that the campaign for self-respect is going on in Hassan assembly constituency and the people of the constituency will support the party without getting lured by money.
Speaking at a press conference, he said that former Prime Ministers HD Deve Gowda, Kumaraswamy and HD Revanna have worked hard for the development of Hassan Nagar, not only doing small work but also a large scale development in terms of health and education has come from JDS. He said that it is helpful for the victory of the party for all issues.
Even in the past, many leaders including Raje Gowda, Hanume Gowda won without money. Our father also served the public four times as an MLA without any vested interest. He said that this time self-respecting voters will support me in Hassan.
Swaroop made it clear that after I win, the question of slavery will not arise, as it is usual to seek the guidance of party elders, he will follow the guidance of Deve Gowda and HD Revanna.
Swaroop’s mother Lalithamma said that there is no such situation now as when my husband Prakash contested the election four times… Today voters are being lured by the lure of money. In this election, son Swaroop should be made victorious by giving more votes as a gift to Deve Gowda who is still fighting even at the age of 90 on May 18. He requested to give it.
