Hassan: In the wake of the Assembly elections, JDS candidate Swaruprakash campaigned in many areas including Kuvempu Nagar, Aduvalli, Shankaripuram, Udayagiri.
Swaroop started the campaign after going to Sri Malleswara Swamy Temple in the city and offering special pooja, during which a little girl, Dream, donated the money she had collected and an old woman helped Swaroop to collect the donation.
Speaking on the occasion, candidate Swaroop said that with the blessings of former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda, former Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy, HD Revanna, Bhavani Revanna, Prajwal Revanna, Suraj Revanna, he is in the fray as a JDS candidate and he is confident of winning this election with the blessings of the people of Hassan Assembly Constituency. . Father Sasat Prakash, who served four times as an MLA in Hassan, worked loyally for the party and the people, people will support me this time because of their admiration for him. He said that the people of the constituency are self-respecting without giving value to money and are helping me in the election by donating.
Yesterday also the President of Karnataka Defense Forum and the Padadhi Kari gave me the donation they had collected from the public, the farmers of Katihalli, Nidudi, Chittalli in rural areas also helped towards the election expenses by donating Rs 1,2000. Little children are also helping financially and I am grateful for their help. He said, “I promise to be with him in any situation and participate in his hardships and joys in the future as well.”
He called that no one should vote in this election without being lured by the desire of money for a couple of days.
The leader Kamal Kumar said that this election in Hassan Assembly Constituency is being held on the basis of money and people’s power and today he is volunteering to give his money to the people to elect Swaroop.
On this occasion, JDS President Vasudev, JDS party spokesperson Hongeri Raghu and other leaders were present.
