Hassan: Gangadhar Bahujan, candidate of Belur assembly constituency and general secretary of BSP state unit, requested to vote for BSP candidates in order to preserve democratic values and fulfill the wishes of the constitution.
Speaking at a press conference, he said that democracy is becoming meaningless because the king is growing as an industry instead of remaining a service. He said that such a candidate after contesting and winning the election is looking for profit, so it is not possible to provide good service to the people. In such a situation, Bahujan Samaj Party should be supported to establish a government that upholds the values of democracy and implements the wishes of the constitution, he said.
Already in the election manifesto, BJP Congress and JDS parties are giving false promises to the common people and are luring the innocent voters in many ways.
He said that such anti-democrats should be removed from power.
BSP candidates are contesting in six assembly constituencies in Hassan district and other parties are doing slander in favor of the candidates in some constituencies. But all these are far from the truth and BSP will never leave behind in order to conduct valuable elections, he said.
BSP District Unit President Harish Atni, Shivamma, Surendra, Kumar, Mallaya were there.
Support BSP for preservation of democratic values
