Students protest against fee payment loophole

Hassan: Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe students studying for their degrees in the city’s Government Arts and Commerce College staged a protest in front of the college today to condemn the lapse in fee payment. Fee payment is allowed under the SSP scheme. But still, the money has not been deposited in the account of many students. But he cried that it will be a lot of trouble as the college has fixed the last date for fee payment and is pressuring us to pay. The same fee has been fixed for SCST students like other strong communities. This is very unfair to us. The students requested that the concerned authorities should intervene immediately and rectify the injustice.
