Hassan: Higher Education Minister Dr Siddaramaiah has made a provocative statement about the Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Assembly. District Youth Congress workers staged a protest in the city on Friday demanding the arrest of CN Ashwattha Narayan.
The leaders and activists who started from the district congress office in the city marched to the district collector’s office and shouted against Aswatthanarayan and the government.
The Congress leaders who spoke on this occasion protested in front of the DC’s office demanding that minister Ashwattha Narayan should be immediately dismissed from the cabinet and take legal action. Siddaramaiah is a pioneer of social justice for all races. Apart from lashing out against him, he also made arrogant statements and therefore demanded that the BJP government should sack Ashchatthanarayan from the cabinet.
District Congress Campaign Committee President Devarajegowda, Ramachandra, Devappa Malligevalu, Keerthikumar, Shreyas Patel, Venkatesh and others were present in the protest.
