Araseekere: When NR Santhosh, the BJP ticket aspirant of Araseekere Assembly Constituency, went to vote, there was an incident of gherao by the villagers.
The incident took place on Thursday night in Belagumbe and Gollarhatti of Araseikere taluk and the villagers have alleged that it is not right to spread propaganda to create unrest in the village.
When it came to polling, the villagers accused Santhosh of interfering in the matter of the village cooperative society. At the same time, there was a clash of words between the JDS and BJP workers and an atmosphere of confusion was created in the place for some time.
The police came to the spot and brought the situation under control. For the past several months, NR Santhosh has organized many programs to give gifts to the women of the village under the guise of offering gifts to the lake as well before the assembly elections, and now he went to the village overnight to vote.
Not only did the villagers who were present severely scold Santosh, but you have come to ask for votes, that is all you have to do. He expressed his anger that our cooperative association should not come to work as a group within the town and fight among ourselves.
At this time, there was an altercation between Santosh’s supporters and the villagers, and the village leader himself was attacked by N.R. Santhosh’s crying has been shot on video.
Overall. As 50-60 days are left for the assembly elections, the colours of the Araseikere constituency are increasing day by day and we have to wait and see where it will end.
