Hassan: Congress leader Shreyas Patel said that due to political influence, local MLAs HD Revanna and MP Prajwal Revanna revoked the permission given by Holenarasipur municipality to hold the Praja Dwani Yatra program of Congress on March 1.
Speaking at a press conference on Friday, he had given permission when he applied to the municipality on February 15 to allow the program to be held in the public hall of Holenarasipur town. Sabubu, who is going to hold the cricket tournament the very next day after giving us permission, seriously accused us of obstructing the program by lying that he too had been given permission for the cricket team earlier.
Praja Dvani Yatra has been successfully conducted in the entire state without any problem in any field. He said that they are causing trouble in Hole Narasipur taluk with malicious intent and they are doing this with political malice. People who already want change in Hole Narasipur have come forward to support Congress this time. He warned the Revanna family, which has been governing by intimidating the officials, that the oppression of Revanna’s family will be taught a lesson in this election.
We will hold the program at the scheduled time and place, if there is any disturbance in the program, the legislators and the district administration will be directly responsible. He requested that the district administration should immediately intervene and solve the problem and enable the program to be held.
