Shivalingegowda should stop the policy of dividing the shepherd society
Hassan: JDS leader Banawara Ashok alleged that Shivlinge Gowda, who has used the Kuruba society as a political weapon, inaugurated a bronze statue of Krantivir Sangolli Rayanna in Guttinakere village of the taluk through the policy of divide and rule.
Speaking at a press conference, he said that Shivalinge Gowda, who has used the inauguration of Rayanna’s statue politically, inaugurated it through Congress leader Siddaramaiah.
Many leaders including Paura Dalita Minister BJP leader MTB Nagaraj and surrounding villagers have donated for the construction of Puttali. Sivalinge Gowda, who has done all he can to help the construction of the statue in a non-partisan, caste-based way, accused him of trying to divide the Kuruba society in order to cook political rice.
Even the pontiff of the Kuruba Samaj did not come to this function, saying that if the program had been done in a non-partisan manner, the Swamijis would have participated.
It has been proved that Siddaramaiah’s ploy to get the votes of the backward classes by joining the Congress by praising Siddaramaiah in yesterday’s event has been proved. He alleged that Sivalinge Gowda is acting like this to systematically prevent the people of Ahinda Samaj from getting a chance to become MLAs in the constituency after 75 years.
Sivalinge Gowda, who served three times as an MLA from the JDS party, is today opposing HD Kumaraswamy and Revanna and accusing him of cheating the family that gave him political power for 15 years.
After the announcement of the elections, Shivlinge Gowda should gather people, and then let’s see his strength. He should stop doing politics by uplifting caste communities. Araseikere Assembly Constituency has 1.40 lakhs votes of non-Hind castes and 70000 votes of the Veerashaiva Lingayat community. Sivalinge Gowda, who had won with the support of Ahinda votes for so many years, challenged him to see how he will win the next assembly election.
K Chandrasekhar, Gangadhar, Zakir Hussain, Kesavamurthy, Basavalingappa, and Devakumar were present at the press conference.
