Hassan: MP D. K. Suresh expressed confidence that the Prajadhwani Yatra to create awareness among the people about the misdeeds of the BJP Governments at the Centre and in the State will be successful in the District as well.
Speaking to media persons at a tourist temple in the City, he said that the Prajadhwani Yatra has also traveled to several districts of the State and the program organized in Koppal today was a success. The Public participated in great numbers, he said.
“More than one lakh people and activists are expected to participate in the Prajadhvani Yatra program to be held in the City on January 21. Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) President D. K. Shivakumar, Opposition Leader Siddaramaiah, Leaders Dhruva Narayan, M. B. Patil, R. V. Deshpande, B. K. Hariprasad, and many others will be present.
The Congress party has already released a good manifesto aimed at providing pro-people governance with 200 units of free electricity to every household, 2000 an annual subsidy of Rs. 24,000 per month as announced by All India Congress Committee General Secretary, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra at Na Nayaki program, he noted.
Announcing a subsidy of Rs. 500 per cylinder, he said Congress will implement several good schemes including GST subsidy on items of daily use to save people from the imposition of GST.
