Hassan: Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) President D. K. Shivakumar has appealed to the people of the State to support the party.
Speaking after inaugurating the Prajadhvani Yatra program organized in the City, he said that he has been in politics for the last 40 years, and when he came to Hassan, the welcome given to him stood as witness to his successful career and gave strength to the entire Congress Party, not just him. There have already been many meetings held in a big way but the grand welcome given by the people in Hassan makes me feel enthusiastic and also will bring about a change, he said.
The Congress Party has always tried to keep the BJP at bay but JD (S) Leader H. D. Kumaraswamy formed the Government with the BJP. But if the Congress had the opportunity, we would give the power to Kumaraswamy without going to walk with the bad BJP and if we are at fault, we would be ready to get punishment from you,” he said.
The BJP Government tried to loot people’s money even during Corona, he alleged, and added that BJP had done many anti-people works including price rise, he stresses.
