Hassan: Sakleshpura Alur MLA H. K. Kumaraswamy said that a final decision on releasing the list will be taken on Saturday, February 4. All eyes are on the announcement of tickets for candidates in the JD (S) stronghold of Hassan Assembly Constituency, which has created a lot of curiosity in the State.
The list of candidates for the seven Assembly constituencies for Hassan Assembly Constituency will be finalised on February 4. It remains to be seen who will be blessed by HD Kumaraswamy as there is a fierce contest between Swaroop Prakash and Bhavani Revanna for the Hassan Assembly seat ticket.
It will be interesting to see whether Bhavani Revanna will get the ticket by convincing her family member Kumaraswamy of the stiff competition or if he will take a firm decision to abide by H. D. Kumaraswamy’s earlier statement and give the ticket to Swaroop.
There have also been serious discussions in the public and political circles on what will happen to Bhavani Revanna, who has been wanting to contest the Assembly elections for many years if she does not get a ticket.
It will be interesting to see how Kumaraswamy, who has been saying at a press conference every time that there is no confusion over ticket distribution for Hassan Assembly Constituency, will announce this tough decision.
