Hassan: MLA of Hassan assembly constituency Pritam Gowda and BJP district unit president HK Suresh has accused Karnataka Rashtriya Samiti Party’s V Ramesh Bhuvanahalli of luring the voters by luring voters before the elections.
Speaking at a press conference, he complained that Ashtalakshmi Puja was organized in the name of Parivartana Trust on the ground of Chirantha School in Satyamangala Barangay on March 6 and MLA Pritam Gowda was luring hundreds of women by giving sarees, blouses, silver Lakshmi pendants etc. in remembrance of the Puja.
On February 9, KRS party state president Ravi Krishnareddy visited the Hassan district collector’s office and appealed to him to cooperate in conducting free and fair elections in the state, but he said that such activity is continuing.
Also, there have been reports in many media about BJP district unit president HK Suresh in Belur taluk Bari who has abused people and spoiled people by drinking alcohol. It is a serious matter and the candidates who commit such acts are criminals and requested that the local administration should take appropriate action for free and fair elections.
MLAs gave gifts to the voters in the name of Transitional Trust and demanded that the source of money to organize the program under this trust should be investigated and action should be taken against those who organized the program.
