Protest against the Ambedkar statue by wearing a black belt
Hassan: District Youth Congress members today protested against the cancellation of Lok Sabha membership of Congress national leader Rahul Gandhi.
Members of the protest sitting near Dr Ambedkar’s statue in the city, wearing black armbands, expressed their anger against Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s central government. The arrogant BJP government is doing injustice to the common people. Opposition leaders who speak out against governance failures are accused and prosecuted. Accordingly, he accused Rahul Gandhi of cancelling his seat as a Member of Parliament.
Yuva Congress District Unit President Ranjith Goruru, SCST Congress Unit President Malligevalu Devappa, Ashok, Mubashir and other activists participated.
