Disgruntled Congress leaders meeting in Sakleshpur

Sakaleshpur: Former Block Congress President Vidyashankar said that factionalism will not be tolerated in the Congress party.
Speaking at a meeting of the supporters of Congress president Hanubal Bhaskar, he ignored the seniors in the party and said, “We work for the party, we do not work for the prestige of the individual. Even though the current president of the Congress is Hanubal Bhaskar, what was the need to appoint another president?” He asked.
Hanubal Bhaskar spoke and expressed regret that there was no need to change the president when the election was 2 months away. He said that we were not invited to the President’s felicitation ceremony held earlier, even as a courtesy. I have worked honestly for 6 years. I am satisfied that I have worked together with everyone. But during the elections, he expressed his displeasure about the internal changes in the party. He said that tickets should be given to locals for the Aluru-Sakaleshpur assembly constituency, otherwise it is a dream that the Congress party will come to power again.
The workers expressed the opinion that Anil, who is the coordinator of our constituency, should be changed because factionalism is going on in the constituency and this will harm the party. Former president Vidyashankar, Hanubal Bhaskar, YP Rajegowda, and SC unit president Doddirayya participated in this meeting.
