Hassan: Dalita Sangharsha Samiti District organising Convener Belagodu Basavaraju said that they have decided to hold an indefinite protest against the unscientific construction of a four-lane road on NH-75 between Hassan-Sakleshpur-Maranahalli.
Addressing a press conference here, he said that about a 45 km stretch between Hassan – Sakleshpur – Maranahalli will be completed. The National Highway work has been going on for the last six years, but it is not known when it will be completed, he said.
“Road construction is going on improperly and unscientifically. The work is poor. Despite several protests over the issue, no attempt has been made by the concerned to rectify the work and expedite the work, he rued.
