Cooker given to the voters by Belur BJP candidate

Belur: As the state assembly election fever is increasing day by day, the cooker given to the voters by Belur BJP candidate and BJP district president Hullahalli Suresh has exploded and it has come to light belatedly.
The incident took place in Sanyasihalli, Belur taluk, Hassan district, where Belur BJP candidate HK Suresh had earlier distributed cookers to the voters. But on Saturday, the cooker exploded while cooking rice at Seshamma’s house. Fortunately, there were no casualties, but a major accident that could have happened went wrong. As the matter came to light, the election officials visited many villages today, returned those who had got the cookers, warned that some cookers were being spotted, and more than nineteen cookers were seized under the leadership of Tehsildar Mamata.
