Hassan: Congress leader Karle Indresh said that it is not right that the Congress party of Chakaravetta is making an election gimmick statement today while joining the Sakaleshpur Assembly Constituency.

15 years ago, during the Kuldeep Singh Commission’s opinion gathering regarding the inclusion of Kattaya Hobli Sakale Shapur Assembly Constituency, the JDS party protested for one day in front of the Hassan District Collector’s Office and requested to save Kattaya Hobli in Hassan or Araka Lagudu Assembly Constituency; But the Congress party did not give any objection to the commission at that time, but today on the occasion of the election, Congress leader DK Suresh questioned how correct it is to make a gimmicky political statement.
In the last assembly elections, the JDS party got 16,000 votes in Kattaya Hobli, while the Congress party got only 3,000 votes. In such a situation, Congress leaders should stop making statements just for political purposes, he said.
