Hassan: Congress leader Karle Indresh said that it is not right that the Congress party of Chakaravetta is making an election gimmick statement today while joining the Sakaleshpur Assembly Constituency.

Speaking at a press conference, Congress leader D.K. Suresh said that the accusation was ridiculous. He added a compulsory hobli to the Sakaleshpur Vidhan Sabha constituency because he would not vote for the JDS party.

15 years ago, during the Kuldeep Singh Commission’s opinion gathering regarding the inclusion of Kattaya Hobli Sakale Shapur Assembly Constituency, the JDS party protested for one day in front of the Hassan District Collector’s Office and requested to save Kattaya Hobli in Hassan or Araka Lagudu Assembly Constituency; But the Congress party did not give any objection to the commission at that time, but today on the occasion of the election, Congress leader DK Suresh questioned how correct it is to make a gimmicky political statement.

In the last assembly elections, the JDS party got 16,000 votes in Kattaya Hobli, while the Congress party got only 3,000 votes. In such a situation, Congress leaders should stop making statements just for political purposes, he said.

JDS MLA from Sakaleshpur Assembly Constituency H. Under the leadership of K Kumaraswamy, development works are in progress under the grant of 350 crores. 80 temples have been developed and good administration has been given with the cooperation of the former minister

HD Revanna. JDS party strongly condemns such a statement by Congress leaders, Indresh said.

In a press conference, JDS taluk unit president S. Dyve Gowda, Kantharaju, Shivanna, Rangashetty, and Ningaraju were there.
