Arehalli: Belur Vidhan Sabha JDS candidate KS Lingesh alleged that the BJP government has tried to destroy the constitution created by Dr. B. R. and re-create the Manu Constitution.
After participating in the roadshow polling held on the main road of Hobali, he addressed a meeting of activists held at Ramanagara and said that for the past 85 years, national parties have been collecting votes illegally through vote banks, but it has not benefited the common people. Former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda is non-partisan to the workers in the party and to all those who can benefit from the party.
Equal opportunity has been provided. I have brought a grant of Rs. 1800 crores to our taluk despite Covid. Clean water has been supplied to households under the Jal Jeevan Mission with a grant of Rs 880 crore. Dr. BR Ambedkar Residential School has been constructed in Andur village at a cost of Rs.23 crores. 2 hostels have been constructed in Belur at a cost of Rs.7.5 crore each. During Revanna’s tenure, a place for a graduate college and a place for construction of a hostel was identified for Arehalli. But the BJP government closed the degree college in the town, he said.
Lok Sabha member Prajwal Revanna said that I had brought a grant of Rs 53 crore for Arehalli and Nagenahalli under Yagachi scheme. Out of this, Rs. 12 crores will be spent on temples and Rs. 41 crores will be allocated for roads
A tender was also called for the plan. But the BJP government had withdrawn the grant of Rs 53 crore.
In the BJP government, the district president did not bring a job worth Rs. The contribution of the BJP district president to the prosperity of the exploited class who are at the lowest level in the society is zero. He said it is foolish to expect development from a double engine government.
