Teacher, Sahiti Vedavathi Shivanna selected as conference president || Project in Kundur Channapuradamma temple premises
Hassan: Kasapa Taluk President A.S. Gopalakrishna said that the 10th Kannada Sahitya Sammelna of Alur Taluk was organized on March 10 in the premises of Channapuradamma temple in Kundur village of Alur Taluk.
In the press conference, Matana Dida said, Veda Vati Shivanna, a teacher and writer, was unanimously elected as the president of the conference.
On March 10, at 8.30 am, a flag hoisting program will be held at Kundur village Channapuradamma temple premises. The national flag will be hoisted by taluk magistrate Meghna, the national flag hoisted by taluk panchayat executive Narayanaswamy, Kannada Sahitya Parishad president A.N. Gopalakrishna said that he will fulfil.
At 9.30 in the morning, the conference president’s procession will be held from Nara Yanaswamy Temple in Kundur to Anjaneyaswamy Temple in Channapur. The procession will be led by S. Gangadhar, circle inspector of Alur police station.
At 10.30 in the morning, the opening ceremony of the Sahitya Samela will be held, and Dr Kalegowda Nagawara, Retired President of the Folklore and Yakshagana Academy, will perform the inauguration in the presence of Sadashiva Shivacharya Swamiji of Karjuvalli Hire Mutt.
MLA HK Kumaraswamy will preside. District Kannada Sahitya Parishad President Dr.H. L. Mallesh Gowda will deliver the words of hope. Former president of Kasapa district HB Madan Gowda will deliver the introductory speech. The release of the work was done by Kasapa Taluk President A.S. Gopalakrishna said that Neraveri Suvaru. J.R. Kenchegowda, President of District and Regional Newspaper Editors’ Association, JDS Taluk President K.S. Manjegowda, Town Panchayat President Veda Suresh, BJP leaders Norway Somashekhar, Venkatesh Goruru, Congress leaders Murali Mohan, Ganesh Honnavalli, B.R. Ganganath, BK Lingaraju, JDS leaders KM Nanjundappa and other important people have participated, he said.
Seminars will be held from 12.30 pm to 1.30 pm, under the chairmanship of Shri Basavalinga Swamiji of Makkundur Mutt, environmentalist H.P. Mohan will speak on ? Upland Environment and Current Challenges? He will present the subject. Lecturer Dr Lokesh spoke on ? Modern Technology and Awareness? He will present the subject.
From 2.30 pm to 2.30 pm, the poet’s meeting will be held and Kusuma Murulidhar, Associate Professor of Holenarasipur First Grade College will be presiding. Poets Vasu, Chandrakala, R. Lilavati, TK Nagaraju, Satyanarayana, Krishna Gowda, Pawan, Dharma, Anil, P. Chandru, and HT Chintan will participate.
A musical and cultural program will be held from 30.30 pm to 5.30 pm. The closing ceremony will be held at 5.30 pm, and senior humorist Prof. M. Krishna Gowda will deliver the closing speech. Businessman Anantha Kumar will be the chairman. Kasapa District President Dr H. L. Mallesh Gowda will be present. He informed that an honour ceremony was held for 26 achievers in the conference and 33 students who scored 125 out of 125 marks in SSLC in Kannada.
