AT Ramaswamy, who contested from the Arakalagudu constituency and was elected MLA in the Arakalagudu constituency, was away from JDS for many months. AT Ramaswamy officially submitted his resignation to Assembly Secretary Vishalakshi on Friday.

I did good things when I was an MLA. If I’m right, I’ll tell you if I’m wrong. Nowhere did I say that I left JDS. JDS Navarre kicked me out. AT Ramaswamy told me that I was touched by raising my voice against corruption.
He entered the assembly from Congress in 1989, and 1994 and from JDS in 2004 and 2018.
