Hassan: In the background of the upcoming Assembly elections for a free and efficient government, a ‘rapid survey’ of more than a thousand voters of all age groups and educational backgrounds from 20 districts of the state was conducted in the months of August and September 2022, Prakash Kammardi, the former chairman of the Agricultural Price Commission said.
Speaking at a press conference, the people of the state expressed deep dissatisfaction with the ruling BJP, including the real problems like price rise, unemployment, etc., the lock-down which was earlier brought under control of the Covid epidemic, the progressive land reforms and the Agricultural Produce Marketing System (APMC) Acts. He said that the unnecessary amendments and forced land acquisition etc. have created anxiety among the farmers.
