Hassan: Recently, 26-year-old Likhit was taken and murdered by friends over money. District Superintendent of Police Hariram Shankar said that based on a complaint lodged by his wife Supreeta, a case was registered in the Hassan Barangay police station, an investigation was carried out, and a successful operation was carried out to arrest the two murderers.

Naveen told Likhit that he would return the money when he asked for the loan, and Sagar, his friend, took Likhit in the car of KA 41 MA 9231, and he went missing without returning home. He said a case was registered at the Hassan Barangay police station based on a complaint filed by Likhit’s wife, Supreeta, and an investigation was started.
Later Naveen and Sagar took Likhit Bangari in the 9231 car of KA 41 and consumed alcohol. Then again, there was an argument over money. After Likhit filed a check bounce case against Naveen, he was kidnapped out of hatred and stabbed to death with a screwdriver. Later, to hide the murder, they brought and dumped it in the Yogihalli forest area from Dudda Hobli, Dudda Road, Koravangala, to Yogihalli in Hassan Taluk. Dudda Police Station registered a case and investigated the complaint filed by Nagesh, brother-in-law of deceased Likhit Bangari, that action should be taken against the accused. Realizing the seriousness of this case, a special team of Hariramshankar, IPS, Senior Superintendent of Police, Hassan District, was formed, and both the accused were arrested and interrogated. During the investigation, he informed that two persons, Satyamangala of Hassan, resident of Indiranagar, Naveen, 30, who works as a driver, and Sagar, 24, resident of Hanugavalli, Dudda Hobli, have been arrested and interrogated.
