A rider killed in home minister’s escort vehicle – public outrage

Hassan: A rider lost his life after a bike collided with the escort vehicle of Home Minister Araga Gyanendra in Hassan.
Ramesh (45) of Chikgandasi village died unfortunately. The accident occurred when the bike ran into the escort vehicle coming from the petrol station.
Araga Gyanendra was going to Swagram from Malemahadeshwara Hill. DR Inspector Ramu was escorting the Home Minister. On hearing about the accident, Home Minister Araga Gyanendra left the vehicle without stopping, which caused outrage among the local public. Gandasi police of Araseekere taluk arrived at the spot, visited, checked and sent the dead body to the local district hospital.
