Hassan: Rakshit Bharadwaj of Vishwa Hindu Parishad demanded that the recitation of the Quran should not be allowed in front of the chariot during the Chennakesava Swamy Chariotsava to be held tomorrow.

Speaking at the press conference, he said that according to the Hindu religious tradition, the Rathotsava should be celebrated, in which case it is not right to recite the Quran; He complained that even in the manual of the temple, there is no mention of recitation of the Quran, but the practice of reciting the Quran has been added maliciously. The Vishwa Hindu Parishad had expressed its opposition to the recitation of the Quran during the last Rathotsava, this time also we are against the Quran being recited in front of the Rathotsava. He warned that there would be a protest.

Vishwa Hindu Parishad’s Anoop, Abhishek and Vikas attended the press conference.
