Liquor sold in village shop-houses

Hassan: Villagers submitted a petition to the District Collector demanding to control the sale of illegal liquor in Bettahalli village.
Illegal sale of liquor is rampant in Bettahalli village of Singodanahalli, Magge village panchayat of Aluru taluk. Liquor is being stocked and sold illegally in shops and some houses in the village.
Because of this, the middle and poor families are getting ruined and the money earned by working as a labourer is being spent on alcohol, so there is a commotion in the house.
There is no harmony in the family and an atmosphere of unrest is building day by day in Bettahalli village. Men and youth are becoming slaves to drinking and the peace of the family is getting ruined. Therefore, he submitted a request that strict instructions should be given regarding the cessation of alcoholism.
Villagers Asha, Kusu Ma, Sujatha, Sunil Kumar, Sadashiva, Ranga Nath, Thyagaraj, Diwakar, Satish and others were there.
