Later, when the Vijaya Sankalpa Yatra arrived at Halebidi in Belur taluk, as scheduled, while drinking coffee at Annappashetti’s house, the show of strength and chants of the local BJP leaders outside the house made the Union Minister angry.

Santhosh Kenchamba chanted the mantra of unity
Siddesh Nagendra and Santhosh Kenchamba, who offered garlands to the Ambedkar effigy at Ambedkar Vritta in Belur, had no differences when the Vijayasankalpa Rath, which was supposed to go with the minister from Halebid to Belur, reached Belur in the absence of the minister.
