Aluru: Founder President of Kendra Kannada Sahitya Vudisha Kotresh S said that the words and life values of Kayaka Santadeva Dasimayya are universal and eternal. Uppar opined.
He inaugurated the Jedara Dasimaiah Jayanti and honour program for the achievers who attended Saint Believer’s Church in Aluru Taluk Kendra Kannada Sahitya Vudisha town and in the background of building a classless, colourless and genderless society, with the desire to always achieve a comfortable life for mankind, he wrote in simple language that the common man could understand through his verses. He said that the credit for ushering in social transformation goes to Dasimaiah, the first orator.
Saint Believers Church Father D.C. Basavaraj Mav Nadi Kendra Kannada Sahitya Vudisha has been doing various programs in the taluk. Today’s Dasimaiah Jayanti and honour program for achievers has been meaningfully completed. He said that the media sector, which has been recognized as the fourth arm along with the three branches of the Constitution of India namely the Legislature, the Executive and the Judiciary, is functioning very effectively.
Natraj Nakalagudu, the former member of taluk panchayat, said that it is a commendable work that Kendra Kannada Sahitya Odisha, which started from our taluk and today spread to the state and outside states, is progressing towards global development. It is doing work to identify and bring to the fore hundreds of poets and poets with their own goals and objectives without being an alternative to any association.
Natraj Nakalagudu, immediate past president of Taluk Working Journalists Association, Udayavani reporter TK Kumaraswamy and Janamitra newspaper reporter TM Satish were honoured in the program.
Mr Honorary President Fr. High. Ghulam Sattar, Dr Vice President TK Nagaraj, Tel. Secretary Dharma Kerala, Senior Correspondent HD Pradeep Kumar etc. spoke.
