Hassan: Belur Municipality vice president Ushasatish was appointed as the acting president today after the previous chairman CN Dani resigned from his position as per the internal agreement of the party.
The Congress party, which came to power by winning 17 seats in the Belur municipal elections, had focused on the comprehensive development of Belur after CN Dani became the president on 04-10-2021 as a condition of the party’s internal agreement in the first term. But according to the internal agreement of the party, the incumbent vice-president Ushasatish was appointed as the acting president after the resignation of the party the last week. Talking to the newspaper, the acting president Ushasatish expressed his desire to do a good job by responding to the demands of the people of the town because I also had the experience of working as a vice-president in the municipality.
On this occasion, a former member of the Municipal Council and President of Town Co-operative Society BL Dharma Gowda, Congress leaders Satyanarayan, Satish, Shekhar and others were present.
