UGD water on road: Outrage by the public

Holenaraseepura: The villagers have complained that the concrete road and drainage works have been carried out without maintaining the standards in the village of Badakyatanahalli of the taluk and the sewage water is flowing near the houses and causing pollution. In Badakyatanahalli village of Hobali, Hallimaisur, concrete has been laid on the road under the village boundary project by the PWD department. Drainage has also been done. BJP leader Devaramuddanahalli Sivanna complained that the standard was not maintained. He has given a statement to the press that there is no drainage due to the soil being filled. Due to this, the UGD water is also standing in front of the house of Ningaraju and Krishnaiah. People have to walk around with their noses covered. The concrete cement laid on the road was not laid in the prescribed quantity. It doesn’t seem to last long. There is a milk producer center in the village. Adequate roads were needed here for people and cattle to move around. Drainage works are also inadequately done. This has made people confused. Asked the person who handled the contract to no avail. He said that although it was brought to the attention of the concerned engineers, they did not pay any attention.
