The public saved the drowning man in Kalyani

Beluru: Ganesh, 42, of Hosalli village, Kattaya Hobli, Hassan district, who had arrived as part of the world-famous Sri Chennakesava Jatra festival, arrived with his friends for the Sri Channakesava Rathotsava. At the same time, a young man by the side fell into the water and was picked up. Ganesh, who did not recover, was admitted to the local public hospital.
On this occasion, Dr Rajeev administered first aid and Hassan was sent to District Hospital for further treatment as he did not recover.
