Alur: Bharat Scouts and Guides inculcate life values in children from an early age inculcating discipline, self-restraint along with service spirit. Rudresh, Education Coordinator of the Office of the Honorable Field Education Officer, felt that it is appropriate that February 22, the birthday of the founder of this organization, which has grown into a huge organization and movement around the world, is celebrated as the foundation day every year.
On behalf of the Bharat Scouts and Guides local organization in Aluru, he inaugurated the Scouts and Guides foundation day celebration in the new senior primary school premises of the town by lighting the torch and said that Bharat Scouts and Guides organization is doing good works in Aluru taluk. He said that the children of different age groups here are being educated at the level of Cubs, Bulls, Scouts, Guides, Rovers, and Rangers and they teach us how our life should be, how to become cultured citizens and Scouts and Guides teach life skills.
M. Balakrishna, ADC of the local organization presided over the program and said that what I have given to society is more important than what society has given us. The main purpose of Scouts and Guides is to tell society what service is required from me and how to do it. The main objective here is to keep the mind always active and cheerful with self-satisfaction by serving the community as per the saying ‘live for service’. In this regard, teachers and all of us have to work hard for the development of the children, he said.

Hosahalli, Purna High School Aluru school children participated.
Assistant District Commissioner M. Balakrishna, Scout Masters B.S. Hima, HD Kumar, Puttaraju, V. Mohan, MD. RS Mohan, Venkatarangaiah, BP Girish, Guide Captain Maherabanu, Bhagyalakshmi, Reshma, Elizabeth, Drakshayani, Chandrakala, Manaswini, Priyanka, Shilpakriti and many others were present. A collective prayer was offered. Cub Master Venkatarangaiah welcomed, Scout Master H.D. Kumar presented, and Taluk Organization Treasurer B.S. Hima gave the vote of thanks.
