Hassan: An emergency meeting was held in the District Government Employees Union to discuss the further struggles to demand the interim relief announcement and re-implementation of the old pension scheme and other demands for the submission of the final report of the Seventh Pay Commission.
In the meeting presided over by District President Krishna Gowda, District President Krishna Gowda requested a large number of office bearers and members from the district to participate in the large meeting of office bearers and members presided over by Shadakshari, the state president of the association in Bangalore on February 21.
A resolution was passed in the meeting to demand that the report of the Pay Commission should be received soon, the interim report should be given to those who come and interim compensation should be given as followed by the previous governments.
Speaking in the meeting, the district president Krishna Gowda said that the association is engaged in constructive activities, and although 35-40% of the posts are vacant, the existing staff are handling the workload. The government should consider the demands of the employees. The wage commission, implementation of the old pension scheme, and cashless medical treatment scheme should be implemented for this, everyone should join the campaign led by the state president.
