Farmer Manjunath lost lakhs of rupees.
Holenarasipur: Manjunath, a farmer of Mahadeshwar Colony, village Mysore. T.J. It is known that as a result of some miscreants setting fire to the one-acre nut plantation of Bin Jawaraiah this morning at 10-30 am, three hundred nut plants growing in the nut plantation have been burnt.
For the future life of farmer Manjunath, 300 nut trees, along with coconut trees, mango trees and banana trees which were standing for yielding crops at a cost of 5 lakhs rupees, were set on fire due to the misdeeds of some miscreants, the fire caused a rapid economic loss in the entire garden due to the heat of the sun.
Manjunath lamented that he is expecting appropriate compensation from the taluk administration regarding this incident and requested that the police department find those responsible for this incident and punish them within the framework of the law.
