Hassan: In a shocking incident, a single drip set was being applied to three to four patients at the Javagal Primary Health Centre in Arsikere Taluk of the District.
“One needle should not be put on another. The compounder of the Government Hospital has neglected to put the same drip set on three people despite knowing that there is a possibility of spreading the disease from one person to another if the needle is injected. A video of the compounder talking to a relative of a patient in this regard has gone viral on social media.
“We put a drip set of needles on three patients. It costs Rs. 50 for a glucose intake. The doctor himself said to do this,” the compounder said in the video. Now, the public has expressed anger over the functioning of the Government Hospital Staff and demanded that appropriate action be taken against the guilty.
