Notice of Preparation for Issuance of Election Notification

Hassan: The District Collector and Returning Officer, MS Archana, have suggested that all preparations should be made for accepting nomination papers in connection with the assembly general elections. The notification should be issued, and the representatives of the political parties should be made aware of the opportunities for the submission of nomination papers online.
He held a video conversation with the Election Officers and Assistant Election Officers of all the constituencies in the Collectorate’s office. He gave advice and instructions regarding preparing for the Assembly General Election.
The District Collector said all the necessary steps for postal voting and field inspection should be done, and the pending applications should be completed as soon as possible.
The District Collector suggested using the cameras available in Taluk Panchayats in all taluks, providing them to FST and other Model Code of Conduct Monitoring Committees, and buying and using new cameras where necessary.
