Hassan: Due to the statewide NHM employees protesting in the capital demanding the fulfilment of various demands, there is a staff shortage in the hospitals in the taluk hobli centres and the poor patients are struggling.
The employees who have arrived in Bangalore from different corners of the state have intensified their protest with the intention of drawing the attention of the government. Although the rally has been going on for almost a week, the government has not responded to their request, so the protestors have continued to protest. Due to the indefinite strike of the employees, there is a shortage of staff due to which none of the staff is present for work and there is only NHM staff in the small children unit which is causing a lot of trouble. Due to a lack of staff in public hospitals including district hospitals, district primary health centres, and city community hospitals, all the people are facing a lot of problems. It has come to light that the health department doctors are neglectful when it comes to whether the health is good or not. The children are very tired and the public is accusing them of distributing medicine to the children for convulsions regardless of the fact that they are told to enrol the children. There is a situation where the children are struggling between death and pain but no higher authorities are taking any action about it. The public has demanded that the government wake up immediately before more hospital disasters happen.
