Aluru: To attract voters to the polling booths, the Election Commission is conducting a program called “Nama Nade Matagatte Kade” said Taluk Panchayat Work Nirvana Officer N Narayanaswamy.
On behalf of the Taluk Sweep Committee, he participated in the ‘Numma Nade Matatgatte Ka’ program held at the polling booth number 58 of 199 Aluru Sakaleshpur assembly constituency in the Taluk Panchayat Precinct and hoisted the flag on the pattern of the national festival.
He said that this program is being conducted to ensure that the voters should vote in large numbers. Every vote is valuable. Voting can help the development of the country by electing a good representative of the people. In view of increasing the voting rate in the taluk, the voters are being made aware about voting.
Town Panchayat Chief Officer Rajesh said that all those who have completed 18 years of age should vote compulsorily, he told them to vote without any temptation and vote without fear.
In the town market, bus stand, Sescom Vritta, and polling centers, a walking procession was held along the main road of the town, including voting awareness song, rangoli competition, signature agitation, human chain.
On this occasion, Taluk Panchayat Executive Officer N Narayanaswamy, Town Panchayat Chief Rajesh, staff members Gangadhar, Ganesh, Rajalakshmi, Taluk Panchayat staff Mangala, Bette Gowda, Manjula, Naveen, Zakir, PPM staff, civil servants and heating staff were present.
