Belur: The logo of the 9th Kannada Literary Conference to be held on March 7 and 8 in Belur Taluk, which gave the first stone inscription to the Kannada literary world, was officially released under the leadership of Belur Tahsildar Ramesh and Taluk Kannada Sahitya Parishad President BL Raje Gowda.
Tahsildar Ramesh, who released the logo of the conference, said that usually the logo is not released in Taluk Kannada literature conferences. But Belur Taluk Kannada Sahitya Parishad is indeed doing a good job and holding the emblem of Belur Taluk uplifting the variety and diversity in our hands.
Kudos to the council members for making the release possible. Especially the Belur sculptures, Halmidi inscription and Irrigation and agriculture emblems are pleasing. He wished the 9th Taluk Kannada Sahitya Sammelan to be beautiful and meaningful.
Taluk Kannada Sahitya Parishad President B.L. Raje Gowda said that for this first festival, the logo which includes the natural beauty and character of Belur Taluk has been designed by the young writer A.C. Niranjan. All preparations are already made for the 9th Sahitya Sammelan. On the first day of the conference, which will be held on March 7 and 8, there will be a felicitation of the heads of pro-Kannada organizations and cultural programs by local artists. On the morning of the 9th, there will be flag hoisting, conference president’s procession, inauguration program, poet’s concert and discussion hall and after the closing ceremony, cultural activities will be held. He requested Kannada fans to turn up in large numbers and publish the logo of the conference released today on all their mobile DPs and social media.
