Sakaleshpur: Kaudalli villagers staged a protest in front of the sub-divisional office demanding a curb on the sale of illegal liquor in grocery shops in the village.
The protestors who spoke on this occasion alleged that it is the duty of the Excise Department officials to control the sale of illegal liquor but the department officials have completely failed.
Due to alcohol addiction, the youth and working-class families are ruining their futures. Despite this, the officials expressed outrage that they are constantly ruining the tranquillity of the villages in the ordinary collection.
Despite the continuous sale of illegal liquor, the Excise Department turns a blind eye. He accused that they are busy in recovery by getting publicity and warning others by attacking some places.
Jaya, Jayamma, Manjula, Kamalakshi, Kumaraswamy, Manjunath and others were present on this occasion.
