Hassan: District Collector MS Archana has instructed that there is a need to work in coordination in the check posts established in the district for the implementation of the Code of Conduct for the Legislative Assembly General Election.
She held a meeting with all constituency’s Election Officers, Tahsildar, Taluk Panchayat Executive Officers, and Municipality and Town Panchayat Chief Officers on the effective implementation of the Election Model Code of Conduct in the Collectorate Hall.
She instructed that both police and revenue department officials should work at the check post and maintain attendance in shifts every day.
She said that the FST teams should start working in the field and report and the code of conduct should be fully implemented.
Collector M said that pending forms should be disposed of. S Archana instructed.
She said that all the returning officers and assistant returning officers should check the polling booths and ensure that everything is in good condition. Report the start of repair work.
