Hassan: Hassan District Planters Association President KN Subrahmanya said that only when the organizations are strong, they can get benefits from the government.
Local organizations should be strengthened by inaugurating the office of the Coffee Growers’ Association under the Panchayat of Gendehalli village, only then district and state organizations will be strengthened. He said that the growers should develop the association at a higher level.
Adduri Kumar, President of the Taluk Belgars Association said that coffee growers are the main reason for their growth along with protecting the environment and maintaining the livelihood of the workers.
He said that the elephant-human conflict has been increasing recently and the government should immediately intervene and find a permanent solution. HDPA Honorary Work Darshi MB Rajeev, HDPAPRF President Muru Lidhar Bakkaravalli, WEB President and progressive coffee growers Hoonkaravalli Dharmaraj spoke.
Central Coffee Board Member GK Kumar, Gendehalli Belgar Association President Ratan, Secretary Vicky, YS Siddegowda, JB Srinivas YD Lokesh and others were present.
