Participating in the polling booth visit action march in the city’s Santhepet circle, he said, “Our main objective is to create more awareness among the voters through our actions towards the polling booths. In 2018, our Hassan district had 78 percent voter turnout, and I am appealing to the people of Hassan district as sweep committee president to vote hundred percent. He lamented that less than 65 percent voting in 99 polling booths in our Hassan Nagar itself. He said that it is a matter of concern that educated people who are educated do not vote more. Kiwimathu said that we should exercise our rights without depriving them. He called upon everyone to join hands to build a strong democracy by giving a good leader and make our Hassan district number one in the state by voting 100 percent in Hassan.
