Araseikere:- Governments are repeatedly taking decisions that have a bad effect on the agriculture sector, and we will implement decisions that bring the farmers together, said the State President of the Federation of State Farmers’ Unions.
Speaking at a farmer awareness meeting organized by State Farmers Association and Green Army State Coordinator Kanakchenahalli Patel Prasanna Kumar in the premises of Kanakchenahalli Sri Ranganatha Swamy Temple, if the farmers are not organized, the governments will write death decree to the agriculture sector. Due to this, there is no security for the farmers, there is no law to take strict action if the farmers are cheated, now we have to fight to cancel the amendment laws, so the farmers have to organize and fight to get the attention of the government. If farmers across the state fight together, farmer power will increase, he said that we should be ready to fight against the anti-farmer policies of the governments. Kanakchenahalli Patel Prasanna Kumar, State Convener of the Farmers Union, presided over the meeting. Hundreds of farmers and women farmers who came from Hassan, Chitradurga, Tumkur and other parts of the district demanded that a further plan should be made for farmers’ problems in the meeting. Ayub Pasha, Ejaz Pasha, Muhammad Dastgir, Hattalli Devaraj, Baradanapura Nagaraj, Ramesh, Thimmappa, Hanumanta, Shanthakumar, Chandranna, Mamata, Pavitra, Manjula and others were present in the meeting.
