Fear of leopard attack for farmers in Belur

Belur: Keshav Shetty, a farmer of Bandihalli village in Bikkodu Hobaliya of taluk who escaped the leopard attack and became a Bachav, spoke to reporters.
Today at 8 o’clock in the morning, while I was going to work in our garden near the house, a leopard suddenly attacked me in the middle of the road.
Immediately upon the attention of the forest officials, the forest department staff arrived at the spot within a few minutes, called me to the nearest hospital and gave me treatment and said that they would capture the leopard.
He said that the villagers and farmers of this place have already been disturbed by the elephants and now the leopard has been found and we are faced with the situation of living in an environment of fear.
