Corruption in shelter home project 20 lakhs without working

Nallur: Manjunath, head of Doddaganni village, alleged that he had paid about 20 lakh rupees without working in the job guarantee shelter house in Nallur village panchayat of Channarayapatna taluk from 2020 to 23.
Speaking in a press conference, Doddaganni took the bill for irrigation work from near Papanna’s house to Chandranna’s house, concrete drains were not constructed and some houses were not constructed.
When PDO Nagesh is asked about the development work, he speaks with enthusiasm and JDS members in Nallur Gram Panchayat are also giving houses only to those who need them. He complained that they are looting the government’s money by charging the bill without building the house if it is sanctioned.
