Birth Jayanti celebration of Balagangadharnath Swamiji

Hassan: The 78th birth anniversary of Yuga yogi, Bhairavaikya Sri Dr Balaganga Dharnath Mahaswamiji was celebrated by family members of former MLA late HS Prakash and devotees of the Math by donating food to thousands of people near the Hemavati statue in the city.
Mahamangalarati was performed by offering pooja to the portrait of Sri with devotion. Kannada Sahitya Parishad district president Dr HL Mallesh Gowda who spoke on this occasion, Shri Dr Balagangadharnath Swamiji has contributed a lot to this society. He said that his contribution to Nadi as a multifaceted Dasohi is great.
Former vice-president of GPI H.P. Swaroop said that Shrigala was not limited to one community but became a voice for the suffering people of the entire society. He said that the Vidyadana he imparted to thousands of poor students in Sri Math has made his name eternal.
