Konanur: In Kittur Rani Channamma Residential School in Kabbaligere village of Hoba, a farewell ceremony was held for the tenth-class students of 2022-23.
On this occasion, Assistant Commissioner of the Income Tax Department, Hassan, Channakeshav said that as children practice for 5 years in residential school, they develop discipline, restraint, and concentration and they can develop more academically due to spending more time with teachers. Preparation for competitive exams should be immediate. He said that education determines the pace of progress of the country, so more emphasis should be given to education and wished the school good results.
Basavaraja, the nurse of Shikaripura residential school in Shimoga district, said that nutritious food and health are very important for the qualitative results of children, so children should maintain their health. He also encouraged the students of this year to achieve qualitative results by giving incentive money to the students who passed with the highest grade in the last year and said that they will give similar incentives to the achievers of the next year as well.
School Principal M.C. Harish said that children face the exam with self-confidence and without any fear of exams. He further advised them to choose the courses that suit their abilities.
In-charge Principal Naga Raj wished the children good luck with the exam and said that with honest hard work, they will surely get success.
Hindi teacher Chandrakala said that girls should be at the forefront of getting an education. He said that the existing privileges should be properly utilized and the goal of achievement should be reached.
All the teachers of the school spoke and greeted the children. The students of class 10 also spoke about the five years they spent there and the education they received from the teachers and told in their own words the unforgettable memories in the hostel.
On the same occasion, Varsha and Raksha, who had passed the class 10th class last year, were felicitated at Vedi K.
Dormitory Santosh Kumar, teaching and non-teaching staff and parents were present in the program.
